Note: These recommended amounts serve as a general starting guideline. Each dog may respond differently to CBD, so monitor your pet’s reaction and adjust the dosage accordingly. If your dog appears excessively drowsy or overly relaxed, reduce the dose; if no effect is observed, you may consider increasing the dose or frequency (up to 2–3 times daily).
Recommended Daily CBD Dosage for Dogs
As a general guideline, dogs typically require about 1–5 mg of CBD per 10 lbs of body weight:
- Mild Symptoms (Anxiety & Mild Pain): ~1 mg CBD per 10 lbs
- Moderate Symptoms (Pain, Sleep Issues & Anxiety): ~3 mg CBD per 10 lbs
- Severe Symptoms (Intense Pain): ~5 mg CBD per 10 lbs
For larger dogs over 140 lbs, we recommend our 2000mg Broad Spectrum CBD Oil—which is twice as potent as our 1000mg version. For the 2000mg oil, simply administer half the suggested dose indicated in the chart above.
